What is the EER rating of this unit? SEER means nothing in the real world of calculating actual energy consumption due to regional temperature differences. If not buying based on EER ratings, you may be paying to much for overrated SEER equipment.

The condenser does not have an EER rating by itself. The EER rating will depend on how the outdoor unit and indoor unit work together as a whole. The manufacturer specification sheets show the maximum EER for this condenser is 12.5 but this can be lower based on the indoor unit/s being used. You can view the condenser specification sheets here. Pages 19-26 of the spec sheets show all of the possible matchups with this unit along with the efficiency ratings for each combination.
